Here is an old family recipe book that was made long before blogs became popular. We have just turned it into a blog so please have patience with us as we update pictures and info. We will also be adding some new recipes along the way.

2 sticks of butter 2 cups of flour 1/2 cup confection sugar 4 beaten eggs 2 cups sugar 4 Tablespoon flour 1/2 cup lemon juice 1 Tablespoon lemon peel confection sugar
Heat oven to 325º. Blend butter, 2 cups flour, and 1/2 cup confectioners sugar. Pat into ungreased 13x9x2 inch pan. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes. For filling, blend together eggs, sugar, 4 TB flour, lemon juice, and lemon peel. Pour over first layer. Return to oven and bake at 325 for 20 minutes. Pour sugar over while still warm.
