Ingredients: | 2 cloves garlic, crushed 1 Tbs melted butter 1/2-1 lb chopped, cooked ham 1 Cup frozen peas, thawed 12 -16oz uncooked fettucine ( or subsitute egg noodles) 1/2 C butter softened 1 C grated Parmesan cheese 1 8oz carton sour cream 1/2 tsp pepper |
Directions: | Saute garlic in 1 Tbs butter in a large skillet over medium heat. STir in hame and peas. Saute' over medium heat 3 - 5 minutes. Remove from heat; cover and keep warm. Cook fettuccine or egg noodles. Drain well. Place in a large serving bowl. Ad 1/2 cup softened butter stirring until completely melted; add parmesan cheese and sour cream, stirring gently to coat well. Fold ham mixture into noodle mixture. Add pepper; toss gently. Serve immediately. (the proportions of ingredients are flexible. Add more or less ham and peas depending on what you have on hand. And if it seems dry, add more sour cream. |
